paypal security question hackNumerous users of TeamViewer, a popular remote access and meeting software, have reported their computers were remotely hijacked and PayPal and EBay accounts subsequently drained.Additionally, many users shared on Reddit that they actually witnessed the takeover. Other intruder activities that were observed included installing software and malware, making rogue purchases online and entering online accounts using auto-filled password keychains.
Many of these reports occurred while TeamViewer’s systems were experiencing technical difficulties and fell offline. TeamViewer later claimed these difficulties were related to a non-DDoS attack.

TeamViewer denies it has been hacked. Instead, they blame users’ poor privacy habits, stating many are likely reusing password across multiple platforms. However, users fiercely dispute their claims — stating they’ve never reused passwords and even that their TeamViewer PINs were utilized in the takeover.
It is still unclear exactly how this widespread security incident occurred. But with more than 1 billion user IDs, the TeamViewer hack has the potential to be quite widespread.
I’ve linked my PayPal Credit and PayPal accounts. Do I still need to register?

What happens if I already have a PayPal cards (Smart Connect, PayPal MasterCard or eBay MasterCard) product linked to my PayPal account?
If you already have a PayPal cards product linked to your account, you will not be able to add PayPal Credit to the same account. You will need to open a new PayPal account and link that to your PayPal Credit account.
Can I use PayPal Credit to send money?
Yes! You can now send money with PayPal Credit. It’s easy—simply log in to PayPal.com and select the Send Money tab. Enter the recipient’s email address or phone number, amount, and transaction type. Click Change to select PayPal Credit as your payment method, then confirm your payment details. Your transaction will appear on your monthly PayPal Credit statement. When you use PayPal Credit to send money, a flat fee of 2.9% + $.30 US dollars (USD) per transaction is included in your payment total. This is the same fee you pay when you use a debit or credit card to send money through PayPal. This feature is not available on mobile devices.A charge a credit card company may assess to a customer’s account if the customer attempts to pay a credit card bill with a check that is returned unpaid. Returned payment fees discourage credit card customers from submitting checks that they know will not clear because their checking account has insufficient funds. To find out whether your credit card has a returned payment fee and how much it is, check the card’s terms and conditions. They will typically specify a returned payment fee of “up to $35.” If it’s your first returned payment, the fee might be lower — perhaps $25. If your minimum payment due was only $10, your returned payment fee might be just $10. Otherwise, you will likely pay the full $35. Sometimes you can convince the credit card company to waive the fee if you’ve never had a returned payment before and your account is in good standing.
